• Homeowner Plus Endorsement

Cincinnati’s Executive Homeowner Plus endorsement gives you the flexibility to add or increase coverages that could save your family thousands of dollars after a covered loss and payment of your deductible. The endorsement adds or increases coverage for:

    • replacement cost on your personal property, with no deduction for depreciation
    • repair or replacement of your damaged trees, shrubs and plants. After a covered loss, you could receive an additional 10 percent of your policy's dwelling amount, including up to $1,000 for any one tree, plant or shrub
    • removal of debris from trees, shrubs or plants left behind after a wind or hail storm or because of the weight of ice, snow or sleet, up to $500
    • your increased cost, within the coverage limit stated on your policy declarations, to rebuild, repair or demolish your dwelling according to building ordinances or laws after a covered loss
    • your loss from theft or unauthorized use of your credit cards, up to an increased coverage amount of $5,000
    • your lost or stolen unscheduled jewelry, watches, furs, precious and semiprecious stones, up to an increased coverage amount of $2,500
    • your freezer contents damaged due to a power failure or mechanical breakdown, up to $500, with no deductible

In most states, we waive your deductible when you experience a covered loss of $50,000 or more, unless the cause of loss is wind, earthquake or landslide or a separate deductible applies to windstorm or hail (if physical loss occurs as a result of a named storm).

    Increased Water Limits

An additional endorsement that could bring you peace of mind is our Limited Water Damage Coverage. You may qualify for coverage for water losses up to a maximum of $100,000 per occurrence. These are losses caused by water or water-borne material that backs up through sewers or drains from off the insured premises; water that overflows or discharges from a sump pump or related equipment; or water that exerts pressure or seeps from below the surface of the ground through an insured structure.
